Antipasto (plural antipasti) is always served before the main meal, and originates from Italy. It's a great way to keep your friends and guests happy whilst you get on with the cooking! Traditionally antipasti includes cured meats, mushroom, anchovies, artichoke hearts, cheeses (such as mozzarella) pickled meats, olives and veggies in olive oil or vinegar.
Why not have some fun with a nod to some of your local suppliers & mix up your antipasti. After all it's about easy, tasty, locally sourced food for grazing and enjoying with friends and family whilst you're cooking the main show. Pull together a couple of wooden boards, and various sized dishes, and head to your local deli to stock up on antipasti delights. .
